IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Vasilia is a slight woman, around five-foot four, and appears to be in her early thirties to a casual glance. She's in fact in her late 290's, a fact really only discernable from scans (as her bones and hip replacement read her age). She does have an unusual amount of gray in her hair for a woman who seems to be thirty-some-odd, but touches it with a discrete dye to keep it a uniform blond.
She is scrupulously clean and on the barge is always wearing thin plastic gloves and nose-plugs that filter the air she breathes. Nothing personal, her immune system is awful. She wears her hair in loose up-does, keeping it out of any messes but still showing some natural curl.
She wears simple, lightish colored clothing, usually a sleeveless boatneck or mandarin collar with coordinating slacks that she blouses into her lightweight boots.
Her accent is unidentifiable to the non-Spacer, and is best described as '1950s radio heroine'-- surprisingly deep and throaty, with frequent emphasis on important words. Audio reference: Mister Kurt, Dexter's in school!
Under a faint layer of ozone and solder from her electrical tinkering and wood-scented soap, she smells 'human'-- though slightly older, and slightly more fragile.
•DEMEANOR: Vasilia acts as if she's at least a foot taller than she is; she is regal, damn sure that she's one of the brighter people in the room, and proud. She walks through crowds as though she expects them to clear. However, she has an occasional tic apparently under stress-- she makes subtle hand signals until she remembers that her robots are not on hand to respond to them.
•ABILITIES: Vasilia is a mathematical/robotics genius. She has an instinctive grasp of pattern and AI programming, and if she is familiar with the notation, she can 'read' a circuit or logic diagram quickly and understand its purpose.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Vasilia has an advanced polymer hip replacement, the full socket and joint are now artificial. She also has a severely depressed immune system that requires supplementing; the usual host of bacteria and virii that healthy Earth-type humans carry around can kill her.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Anti-intellectualism, anti-nonhuman rhetoric, murder and sexual assault
